The NRCN Future Project Delivery Group (PDG) works with schools, youth groups, and young adults to build awareness, prevent crime, and inspire leadership in rural communities.
Our Mission
Tomorrow’s rural safety starts with today’s young people. The Future PDG brings education, policing, and community partners together to nurture confidence, understanding, and positive action.

Current Priorities
Our PDGs are our operational core strategies for 2025–2028, ensuring that our work is
focused, collaborative, and aligned with our strategic goals.
Rural Schools Programme
Brings rural safety into the classroom through officer visits, teaching packs, and hands-on activities. Helps young people understand everyday rural risks and build confidence in making safer choices.
Youth Justice Collaboration
Partners with Youth Offending Teams and local services to spot risks early and support young people before harm occurs. Focuses on diversion, restorative work, and tailored guidance for those affected by rural vulnerability or exploitation.
Grants
Funds youth-led ideas that make rural communities safer. Young people receive support to plan, deliver, and measure their projects, with successful initiatives shared across the NRCN network to inspire others.
