Theme: Police Reform Must Include Rural Communities

With policing reforms happening now, rural communities are very often neglected in national conversations.

Rural crime is serious and  organised, affecting rural livelihoods. This Rural Crime Action Week we bring rural experiences, policing and partners together to make sure rural voices are heard and help shape future policies.

Why the week Matters

This National Rural Crime Action Week, we are coming together to share success stories, hear victim stories, find practical crime solutions, adopt a collaborative approach and advocate for rural voices in policing reforms.

For one week, police forces, PCCs, rural businesses, farmers, landowners, charities and communities will be a part of the campaign to put rural crime on the national agenda and make sure reform reflects the reality of rural life.
